The Confidence Lie That Stops You From Making Progress

Are you feeling behind in your spiritual journey? Like everyone else is so much further along than you? Like you are lacking the confidence to make headway in your psychic and intuitive development?

You're not alone. I hear it every day.

Grab the 12 Easy Ways to Amplify Your Psychic Senses E-book full of my favorite ways to activate your Clairs naturally, as if by magic!

When we don't feel confident in our abilities, when we feel like we are not the best at something, we tend to quit. This is a human complex that happens in so many different instances within our life. We do this in relationships, jobs, school, crafting and hobbies, everywhere.

When we start feeling that piece of “I'm not good enough and I don't think I'm getting it,” Well, of course not! You just started or didn't have the codes yet!

When you are having those thoughts of “I feel like I don’t belong here,” or “I feel like I can’t keep up,” or I’m so far behind”... You're not. That's your Akashics showing.

What you are doing is you’re playing a comparison game. And you can’t win that.

The truth is I didn't wake up being able to do all the things I can overnight and neither did anyone else. Those are projections you have picked up from other people and layered onto yourself that are going to hold you back.

Everybody is going to unravel in their own timing. Your catalyst moment could come in the most mundane of circumstances, and all of a sudden you get a huge download and a new capacity comes on like that. Or you could have to go all the way through three programs plus attend a retreat before you get that little epiphany. Who knows. But is it okay to give up on yourself? Because that's what I see a lot of people do when they step into this kind of work.

What I ask my students to do is not easy. There are a-thousand-and-one programs on the internet that will not ask you to go deep into your stuff, but I will tell you that you will be in almost the same position 5, 10, 12 years from now as when you started if you aren’t willing to keep going.

So many people are so afraid of going all the way in, and it's okay to take your time with it, it absolutely is, because once you can See you cannot Unsee, once you can Hear you cannot Unhear. So give yourself the grace and the space to be the student and to be unraveling in your own time and stop playing the hierarchy game.

You have to stop playing the hierarchy game.

You cannot keep playing this, “Well, these guys are so much better than me so I should just quit because obviously it's just not my thing” game. Because that's a lie. It’s not true. Anything can be your thing if you want it to be. You just have to stop stopping yourself before you even get started.

We don't understand everything all at once. We can’t. Imagine if you put yourself in grade 12 as a six-year-old. How much information would you actually be able to deal with and understand? None, right? It would be too much.

And for those of you who have been dabbling for awhile, what if you just didn't have the codes yet? Or the teacher hadn't mastered in self, what was being shared outwards? Now you can take the information and what resonated, add your new experiences, and see what level you can take it to now.

Some of the concepts other people in the community are talking about and the questions some of us are exploring are like those fire hose questions—where it’s just too much to understand all at once. And even though you may be the one asking the question, you might not understand the layers within the answers that are being shared with you or even the layers within the question itself yet.

But we take the threads. And we start to play and explore and ask more questions.

Ultimately I think the best thing you can do is to remind yourself to just ask. Even if you think it's dumb, even if you think it's too beginner of a question, even if you think it's already been asked a thousand times before because the answers that everybody is going to see again are going to be a great reminder, a great trigger, or a brand new beginning for somebody's journey.

Holding yourself back is also holding the collective back.

If you want to help humanity, start by learning. Start engaging and asking questions. Start going deeper and playing with what you’ve got and already understand. And then when you feel like you have a good grasp on it, go back and listen again, or engage with that topic some more and see what new thread you can grab from it.

It’s almost like we’re climbing a spiritual ladder.

Many of us are in Kindergarten right now. We're learning how to share and be friends by mastering the Control Dramas.

And then let's say Grade One is starting to understand Cords and Contracts and our interactions with other people. That's a little more complicated.

But then we get to Grade Two and Control Dramas are so easy now! And it’s time to learn about the Akashic Records and how those work and how to collapse them, along with more complex cords and contracts.

You’ve never done this before. It’s going to be challenging at first. But we keep going and stacking it all as we go.

That’s how it’s supposed to be! Celebrate every step you take along your journey because you are further along than you were before, and you will be somewhere brand new shortly if you just keep going.

What beliefs about your confidence and abilities are ready to be released? What tools could you use to help clear those out of your experience? What would it take for you to be the energy, space and consciousness of the receptive, joyful, creative, and brilliant student? And all the triggers that brings up... clear those, too!
